Message to all iFlagler laptop users
I wanted to share some information on how to update your laptop from home. Some of your courses will require updates to programs such as Chrome, Java, Flash Player, Adobe Reader, etc. The link below is to a video that will explain how to complete these updates, yourself at home. In addition to following these steps, the technology team still recommends that students restart their laptops while connected to district wifi. That would be mean driving to the closest school and connecting to the "flagler_wifi". Once connected, restart the laptop and updates will automatically happen.
A District Virtual Instruction Program (VIP) is available to K-12 students.
Full-time enrollment for the 2018-19 school year is open from April 11th until July 12th. A parent must be present during each school day to work with the student as a learning coach.
For more information or to begin the registration process, click on the "Elementary" link above.
Part-Time enrollment is also available for the 2018-19 school year. Students who wish to register for part-time K-6 courses need to meet with their school guidance counselor.
The district VIP for students in grades 7-12 is iFlagler, an award winning franchise of Florida Virtual School (FLVS). iFlagler uses the same courses as FLVS, but with local teachers who are employed by Flagler County Public Schools. For more information or to begin the registration process, click on the "Secondary" link above.
Part-Time enrollment is also available for the 2018-19 school year. Students who wish to register for part-time grades 7-12 courses need to meet with their school guidance counselor.
Virtual Courses Offered:
A list and description of all virtual courses may be found on the Florida Department of Education's online course catalog, http://app4.fldoe.org/coursecatalog/. You can then scroll through the district filters in order to view Flagler County's virtual courses.
